The Department of Design and Visual Arts is delighted to present the work of the graduate class of 2020.
The BA (Hons) 3D Design, Modelmaking and Digital Art encourages students to experiment with character design, world-making, animation, visual storytelling across real, virtual and digital environments. The broad and ambitious remit of the programme is reflected in the work of the graduating students of 2020. Projects showcase puppetry making skills, environmental and site responsive reconstructions, imagined worlds, animated films, props for films, virtual reality games, and stop motion animations.
As all programmes in the Department of Design and Visual Arts, the BA (Hons) 3D Design, Modelmaking and Digital Art programme benefits from close alignment with the National Film School at IADT. Graduates work as event designers, model makers in the film, TV, theatre, spectacle arts and experience design industries, as architectural modellers, art directors, animators and character designers in the animation industry, art teachers and in the digital FX industry.
