This project is a home delivery system which enables packages to be delivered and stored securely even if the homeowner is not home. Using hardware and software combined, this project offers new and exciting capabilities in its field. The user can view who is at the door via a live stream camera feed and can choose to send a single use passcode to the LCD screen. Once entered, the package can be placed inside, and the door is locked automatically. There is also an alarm system to deter any burglars.
The device is powered and controlled by a Raspberry Pi 4 model B microcontroller which is connected to Wi-Fi so it can stream the camera feed and connect to the app. This component also contains all the code which is written in Python. The code is written to control all the components used such as the solenoid lock, ultrasonic range sensor and keypad.
