This year I have worked on numerous projects including shorts, TV shows and various other forms of content. I have worked in various roles including cinematographer, steadicam operator, camera operator, gaffer and camera assistant. My main project this year was a film called Post Love. This film follows the story of three elderly sisters who have broken out of their nursing homes and are now robbing local post offices in a stolen car in order to pay for a trip abroad. This film was incredibly fun to shoot and it was amazing working with such great actors. We cover everything from a 1950’s flashback scene in a dance hall, to car shot and post office robberies, all shot in a week. The second shot in the film is my personal favourite, where we follow our school principal as he breaks couples apart in the dance hall, this is a steadicam shot following all the way down to introduce our main actor, Cathy. Overall I really enjoyed my final year here in IADT and I’m incredibly proud of what I have created.
