For my Major Project, I delved into the world of Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett with the aim to design for the script of the television show. I created rich and well-grounded characters with the aim to highlight the theme of the human condition and our ability to turn a blind eye to that which we find negative in this world. The script outlines key events leading up to the impending apocalypse. I chose to focus on the Four Horsemen of the apocalypse; War, Famine, Pollution, and Death. It was both a challenge and an honor to design such well known and fantastical characters and delve into the deeper meanings of what each one embodies. Following on from these key players, I also focused on the two protagonists of the script; Aziraphale the angel, and Crowley the demon. An unlikely set of friends, they were excellent representations of the balance between good and evil, along with exploring their own place within our world during this contemporary setting.
