Creative Computing graduates have a valuable mix of core technical skills and the ability to apply these creatively. Over the course of this four year programme they have gained experience in foundational computing concepts and practices including programming, software engineering, databases, networks, computer architecture and operating systems. Alongside this, students have explored and applied principles of design and creative critical thinking.
The class of 2020 are truly practitioners of Creative Computing, having combined technical and creative skills in a wide array of practical project work, often mirroring the needs and practices of industry. Through these projects our graduates have developed an array of transversal skills – including problem solving, intra- and inter-personal skills – preparing them for the transition to the modern workplace.
The projects on show here demonstrate the specialised skills developed by our graduates in their final year. These include natural language processing, modern web application stacks, cloud computing and augmented reality.
