The Light Sensor MIDI Board is an interactive music board that plays notes when triggered. This is done by using light dependant resistors which take in values depending on the brightness of the room. By waving a hand or object over the LDRs, it causes the light to decrease which lowers the value to cross the set threshold value. This project uses eight LDRs altogether. These are then set to play notes, one per light dependant resistor. These notes are coded on Csound and Cabbage, which is a music interface that the user can make themselves. The eight LDRs then play eight notes, making up an octave.
