The Porn Project is a hypothetical event aimed at normalising and promoting casual conversation around pornography. In our society today, pornography is a taboo subject and for many young people, it is a form of sexual education. This annual event will feature talks and online workshops from many esteemed researchers and lecturers who specialise in the area of pornography. The event will be held virtually which allows for colleges and youth groups to gather audiences and screen the talks. The Porn Project hopes to be the start of a movement in which destigmatizes taboo conversation around pornography. The event will be screened from the website, where you can also buy tickets and catalogues, download backdrops, and read up on speakers and their research. The promotional posters and social media have a presence which will raise conversation about the event and hopefully create a buzz.
