This project is a graduate short film, for the National Film School, IADT. Written and Directed by Aisling O’Regan Sargent. This film tells the story of Patti and Trish; best friends on the cusp of college life. A fatal and traumatic event, on the eve of their goodbye, will change their friendship forever.
A film that explores friendship and the lengths you would go for the people you love. It is a story that highlights the prevalence of sexual violence and the trauma it causes. Yet in the depths of darkness there is the light of love, friendship and unbelievable strength. The concept and script was developed over a period of a year and principle photography was shot back in January 2020. This project hopes to “highlight and triumph the courage of victims and survivors and the people that stand by them, for they are the bravest of all” – Aisling O’Regan Sargent (Writer & Director)
