My project is a realistic re-enactment of the painting “The anatomy lesson of Dr Tulp” by Rembrandt in 1632. For my design project I will be able to create a visual narrative that depicts a more informative response to the painting. My interest and curiosity towards death and the embalming process that happens on a human body. Compelled me to look further into the post-mortem procedures that occurred during 1632.
